MEYER have been successfully making mens trousers since 1960 and for over a decade now, the second generation of this German family run business, have continued to shape the company’s future. In addition to an uncompromising commitment to quality, MEYER’s defining values include a consistent focus on sustainability.
Our philosophy – 360° RESPONSIBLE FASHION – we pay very close attention to the conditions in which our trousers are made – it’s our responsibility! This begins with the selection of fabrics, the sustainable use of environmentally friendly materials is a priority at MEYER. During production we ensure fair and environmentally friendly conditions. We can do this because we make our own trousers in our own European production centre.
One thing is certain with every single pair of MEYER trousers, they’re made almost entirely from environmentally sound materials, mainly organic or FAIRTRADE, quality cotton, pure new wool or synthetic fibres (mostly recycled). We deliberately avoid chemical pesticides, fertilisers and genetically modified raw materials. The purely organic approach is the healthier and more sustainable concept, especially with cotton. It’s better for people, better for the environment – better for everyone.
